Hire Rates and Terms
Challenge Camper Trailers are “Designed by Campers for Campers” to be heavy-duty, lightweight and incorporate all the features believed are essential for your camping comfort.
We have five Outback Deluxe off-road units in three tent sizes, 10ft, 12ft and 14ft. We also have a 10ft on-road unit.

All offer a queen size innerspring bed and incorporate a full-length annexe roof, canvas return wall around the kitchen, water tank, tailgate kitchen facilities, including a 2 burner gas stove & gas bottle, washbowl and pump tap, and battery system providing 12-volt lighting (2 x fluro lights). Vehicle coupling is provided for off road.
Hire Rates:
DAILY HIRE RATE (Incl Insurance)
- 10ft tent unit – $70 per day
- 12ft tent unit – $75 per day
- 14ft tent unit – $80 per day
- Plus cleaning & gas refill charge – $100 per hire
- Security Bond – $1,000 per hire
(covers excess on insurance and refundable after 14 days on return of unit as per conditions of hire
WEEKLY HIRE RATE (Incl Insurance)
- 10ft tent – $455
- 12ft unit – $490
- 14ft unit – $525
*Plus cleaning & gas charges
LONG TERM RATES (4 weeks or more)
- 10ft tent – $410
- 12ft tent – $440
- 14ft tent – $470
*Plus cleaning & gas charges
MINIMUM HIRE RATES
- Non-Peak – 3 days
- School holidays – 1 week
- Long weekends (public holidays) – 4 days
- Easter – 1 week
- Christmas/New Year – 1 week
BOOKING DEPOSIT
(Hire not confirmed until deposit received. Deposit forfeited if less than 4 weeks notice of cancellation prior to hire date)
- One week or less – $150
- 1–2 weeks – $250
- 2–4 weeks – $350
- 4 weeks or more – $500
**NB**
It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure you
have the appropriate adapter plug if you do not have a standard large round 7 pin trailer plug on your vehicle.
Also please remove the towball before pick up.
